I began my cake career after I decided to be a stay-at-home mom after the birth of my oldest son in 2002.  Around his 1st Birthday, my creativity gene started itching and I did something I always wanted to do....I took a beginners cake class and LOVED it.  From there, I heard about an event that used to be held in Cleveland called The Art of the Cake.  I was able to take classes from industry SUPER STARS Colette Peters, Toba Garrett, and locals Becky Rink and Anna Weisend....from there, I was HOOKED!  I learned so much more about cake and how I could make my cakes stand out  from many area bakers.  I have continued to take classes online through the Craftsy platform and have since attended cake shows and have learned from more internationally known cake artist like Avalon Yarnes, Sarah Myers, Timbo Sullivan and Natalie Sideserf.  I love to continue learning about cake so I can bring the very best to my amazing clients.

 

I take great pride in providing the BEST POSSIBLE cake, both in taste and design, that I can for my clients.  I understand you are paying a lot of money for your cake and I hold myself to very high standards.

 

On a personal level, I am married (since 1999) and have 4 boys that keep us very busy.  Life is CRAZY, but of course, I wouldn't change a thing.  Except maybe my organizational skills ;)
